Tungsten Emulation

Tungsten Emulation allows an LED fixture to behave like a traditional tungsten/halogen lamp when dimmed – the colour temperature naturally „warms up“ as the intensity decreases. Possible to select target values such as 2700 K or 3200 K, enabling the light to accurately mimic the typical tungsten temperatures used in theatres and interior lighting. The emulation uses precise LED channel mixing to recreate an authentic tungsten effect without relying on conventional lamps. This provides the advantages of modern LED technology – low power consumption and long lifespan – while delivering the familiar visual behaviour of classic halogen lighting. The Ambiane series features full-spectrum LEDs, ensuring a high CRI is maintained throughout the entire dimming range.
