The adverse effects of exposure to the marine environment, whether lighting coastal architecture or on-board cruise ships and super yachts, are known to be among the harshest environments to which lighting is exposed. In order to counter the corrosive effects of such situations, Anolis offers a full C5M marine grade anti-corrosion coating ensuring the long-term reliability of our products. This optional coating process using specialist primers and finishing paint ensures the damage caused by high salinity is kept to a minimum. The C5M coating is in addition to the high-quality materials such as stainless steel 316L and marine grade bronze that Anolis uses in the manufacturing of some our products as we understand that difficult service access and the short time in dock means reliability is a key decision when making the selection for lighting schemes in the marine environment.
